***Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam Advocating Life-Long Learning for an Aspiring Future*** Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam (BIBD) Advocating Life-Long Learning for an Aspiring Future (ALAF) organised a Khatam Al-Quran at Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Mosque for students participating in the programme yesterday. The event began with the recitation of *Sayyidul Istighfar* and *Surah Al-Fatihah* by Minister of Religious Affairs Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman. This was followed with the recitation of Al-Quran verses by the students. The event began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah by Haji Mohd Zain bin Haji Yahya and a speech from chairman of the organising committee Haji Zaini bin Haji Mohd Yussop. There was a waqaf presentation of 60 chairs to the mosque. Ten single mothers also received food items and 17 orphans, received cash donations.
