I do not think we have any Mpox vaccines as of late. However there is no need to panic or get scared as of now.

but I do know that getting a Small-Pox vaccine is somewhat effective against Mpox as it offers cross-protection. Although it is somewhat effective it is not a substitute for vaccines specifically developed for the Mpox.

Add-on: Mpox is not another covid or a new virus so for those wondering if it might cause another lockdown or pandemic 2.0 no it will not, as unlike covid Mpox is easy to control and contained.

Don’t rush to take vaccination that’s not proven. Covid taught us all lots of new and pre existing sickness reoccurring after the vaccination. They are lots of unreported death too due to bad vaccination

Are there any doctors here who can shed some light on when smallpox vaccine was last given in Brunei? I would have thought it was in the mid 70's?

If smallpox was already eradicated globally then, there's no need to vaccinate people after the eradication? The vaccination children got in Brunei since the 70's were for other diseases, such as hepatitis?

I think at the moment Brunei dont have vaccination for Mpox yet. I think most likely have to go Singapore for the Vaccination.

I thought sex, kissing and physical contact with strangers was illegal in Brunei anyway.

It's not airborne like Covid.
