His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam bid farewell and wished a safe journey to His Majesty Seri Paduka Baginda the 16th Yang di-Pertuan Agong of Malaysia, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Al-Musta’in Billah and Her Majesty Seri Paduka Baginda the Raja Permaisuri Agong, Tunku Hajah Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah binti Al-Marhum Al-Mutawakkil Alallah Sultan Iskandar Al-Haj at The Empire Brunei in Jerudong yesterday. Also present were His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office, and Her Royal Highness Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah binti Pengiran Haji Salleh Ab Rahaman. Malaysian High Commissioner to Brunei Darussalam Dato’ Raja Reza bin Raja Zaib Shah also attended. Accompanying the Malaysian royal couple were His Royal Highness Tengku Hassanal Ibrahim Alam Shah ibni Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah, Regent and Crown Prince of Pahang and other members of the royal family. Members of the Malaysian High Commission and the public were also present to meet the royal delegation from Malaysia and wish them a safe journey. Following the event at The Empire Brunei, the Malaysian royal delegation left for the Sungai Tujoh Control Post to cross the border towards Miri, Sarawak. His Majesty Seri Paduka Baginda the Yang di-Pertuan Agong and Her Majesty Seri Paduka Baginda the Raja Permaisuri Agong were in the country for three days, travelling through Borneo under the ‘Kembara Kenali Borneo’ tour from September 3 to 13.
