Usul saja ada tu ABCi. my shop did early renovation because mesti rush construction and abci suruh tutup until I got approval. I complied and ngam got the approval for construction quick from arkitek. tapi yg jiran sebalah membuat renovation at the same time as me and nada approval dibiarkan? alasan nada aduan.

Well… wonder what is actually the real function of ABCi, when they issue approval only based on photos provided by the (mostly indian) contractor. They don’t even bother to visit the building site. I recall waiting for them to come for OP site visit, but never come. I thought the inspection is rescheduled, as I need to tell them the contractor’s shortfalls. To my surprise, the OP certificate was issued a week later.

Not only Gov’t institution but also GLC like UNN.

Now, I think that is how the system works… the inspector/authority just sit on their fat arse and just received photograph from the contractor. Never go to site but when dispute was raised they argue and explained the problem of the site, as if they have been there all the time.

Is this fair? Or they are taken care by the contractor?
