I think the images we've seen come out of Gaza these last two months have been overwhelming for so many of us, and it's easy to feel like there's not much we can do. Sitting on our own at home scrolling through our phones feeds into that feeling. It creates distance. It enables detachment. It allows us to not have to consider what our personal duty is in all of this.
So come and be in community with us in person โค๏ธ๐๐ค Listen and learn more about the conflict from @jehadmhanna , who is so graciously sharing his story with us.
If you've been actively following the cause and advocating, please come. It feels very grounding to be with other people who care. Even if you haven't been active, please come. It's never too late to understand why you should care.
