One death was reported but not categorized as COVID-related. Minister Dato Seri Setia Dr Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew announced that 22 cases are in Category 4 and 5 in Category 5. Over 5,000 people recovered, bringing the total recoveries to 100,048. The bed occupancy rate at isolation centres is currently 6%. As of March 16th, 59.2% of the population has received three doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.
