However, Minister of Health Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar reassured the public that most cases (99.8%) are asymptomatic or mild. Only three cases require oxygen assistance and are over 60 with pre-existing health conditions. The high vaccination rate, exceeding 94% for at least one dose and 45.1% boosted, is credited with mitigating severe outcomes. The bed occupancy rate in isolation centers is 27.4%.
