Local Firm Fined $500 for Public Dumping

The Belait District Enforcement Unit fined a local company $500 for dumping waste in a public area. The fine was issued under the Minor Offences Act, 2021 (Chapter 30) for violating Section 12(1)(d), which prohibits discarding various materials in public spaces. The company has since settled the fine.
