Citizenship seems to be going smoothly which is good but i suspect they purposely made it harder for people to obtain PR now for that reason to prevent a pileup.
I know of a few people who applied before they changed the rules, gone through interview and then eventually received a letter saying they’re not eligible because they have not reached the conditions (which was implemented years after).
So depends if you have reached the conditions. Refer to a previous discussion in the below link.
