Do you folks even have plans for expanding the Dart fleet, or consistent bus service, let alone light rail?
Singaporeans are used to solo travel with proper transportation options rather than guided tours, else it’s tough.

Brunei Darussalam, through the Tourism Development Department at the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism (MPRT) is participating in the National Association of Travel Agents Singapore (NATAS) Holidays 2024, Singapore’s premier travel fair, held at Singapore EXPO until tomorrow.
Minister of Primary Resources and Tourism Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Abdul Manaf bin Haji Metussin, the guest of honour, inaugurated the event. The opening ceremony featured a vibrant cultural performance showcasing Brunei’s heritage, followed by speeches from the NATAS president and the minister. Themed, ‘Your World and Beyond,’ NATAS Holidays 2024 aims to inspire travellers to explore diverse destinations and new experiences. The minister hopes the Sultanate will become a key part of Singaporeans’ travel plans, offering tranquillity, cultural authenticity and nature-filled adventures.
The fair also saw the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the Tourism Development Department and NATAS, aimed to enhance bilateral ties and tourism cooperation between the two countries.
Permanent Secretary of the MPRT Hajah Tutiaty binti Haji Abdul Wahab and Acting High Commissioner of Brunei Darussalam to Singapore Haji Ahmad Nasri bin Dato Dr Haji Abdul Latif and officials from the Tourism Development Department were also present.
Brunei’s participation in NATAS Holidays 2024 is part of ongoing efforts to promote the country to the Singaporean market. The Tourism Development Department will host familiarisation trips in September and November for travel agents specialising in Muslim tours and educational visits, in collaboration with Singapore’s Ministry of Education.
