Also present were Dayang Hajah Tutiaty, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism, Acting High Commissioner of Brunei Darussalam in Singapore and Deputy President of NATAS along with the travel agencies from both Brunei and Singapore.
The Minister, in his speech, highlighted Brunei's untouched nature and commitment to responsible tourism, emphasizing its exclusive charm for travelers including natural wonders such as rainforests and mangroves. The event also included product update presentations by Brunei Tourism and stakeholders.
Brunei Tourism targets 362,000 international tourists, aiming for BND 228 million in receipts this year. Following 8,192 Singaporean arrivals in 2023, the plans include a familiarization trip and year-round marketing campaigns.
