Ass kissers.
Why would you praise HM wisdom when we are supposed to praise God Almighty for giving wisdom to HM?
Coming from the mouth of 'religious leaders'. What's your hidden agenda here?

>They emphasised the Sultan’s devout leadership, describing the monarch as a just and wise ruler deeply committed to the teachings of Islam
So....
Is making yourself infallible under any law can be considered "just"? "Rules for thee but not for me"?
Brunei still has not diversify away from O&G, it remains the primary source of govt revenue. The govt have been experiencing budget deficit for nearly a decade now thanks to being overly dependent on O&G. If he really was a wise ruler, he could have foreseen that in advance and acted accordingly. Over fifty years on throne and nothing to show for it in terms of Brunei's economic sustainability.
"Deeply committed to the teachings of Islam". Start by practicing what you preach first. Being surrounded in billions of dollars of assets you dont need is definitely not in line with the teachings of Islam.

>Under His Majesty’s guidance, Brunei is seen as fortunate and blessed, with a focus on national development and the well-being of its people in accordance with Islamic principles.
Any country with non renewable resources can be said as "fortunate and blessed", that is until that resource run out. What does the government do about that eventuality? Keep digging for more oil, scare off potential investors and make the country as unattractive as possible by banning trivial stuff. And he's ultimately responsible for that. Absolute power corrupts absolutely.

"The sermon underscored the importance of unwavering obedience and loyalty to the Sultan among citizens and residents, encouraging support for national development initiatives and compliance with the country’s laws and policies."
HAHAHAHAH support national development? I laugh so hard at this. How are we going to support if the government doesn't do anything at all? Look at our brain dead economy here... what do we have here? All we have is "praying" this is a must as it give us shield, foods, shelter, clothes and wealth. I would love to see those people who keep asking to pray, quit your job and try to pray see if money really magically appear right infront of you. IF not then why keep asking to pray? Other nations doesn't pray this hard and they are very well developed. Look at sarawak they even found a mining site full of precious metals and TOTAL ENERGIES & SHELL are investing in our neighbouring countries rather than brunei because they see future and long term unlike bruneian government mindset "today is today, the rest is history i will think tomorrow if anything happen"
