I found the information below and here's a summary
The transformation of Muara town over 44 years has sparked a lively debate online, with users humorously contrasting its slow progress with the rapid developments in places like Dubai and Tokyo! It's a fun mix of nostalgia and sarcasm, showcasing how far (or not) Muara has come!

I had a thought the other day that we need to make an Instagram account that showcase Brunei at its “best” for eg. this pic itself, pic of dirty Kg Ayer, undeveloped bus stations with no shelter or timetables, tourists stranded in a ghost town of Bandar etc. If we make it viral baru authorities take action kali. Open their eyes to the true so called rich nation of Brunei.

It was fun times taking the Mercedes bus there ($1) just to buy Exspress chicken for $2.30 and chicken pie for $1. And walk around the Millemewah in that picture before taking another $1 bus ride back. KNK.

Ironically, the bus looks better maintained than the ones we have now.
