$The $50 commemorative notes, released in July 2023 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Currency Interchangeability Agreement between Brunei and Singapore, have won the Best Applied Security Product award. This accolade was granted by the International Hologram Manufacturers Association (IHMA) for the note's innovative diffractive, see-through security window, featuring Istana Nurul Iman and Istana landmarks. The feature received additional recognition with a Commendation Award for Innovation in Holographic Technology. Launched by Brunei's Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah and Singapore's Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, over two million notes were issued.$
