The Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) celebrated its 62nd anniversary with a Khatam Al-Quran event held at various RBAF suraus and Pulau Baru-Baru Mosque. The main event took place at Surau Al-Barakah, Royal Brunei Air Force Base in Rimba. Commander of the RBAF Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan graced the occasion which included recitations of Sayyidul Istighfar and Surah Al-Fatihah, Al-Quran recitation by participants, a Dikir Marhaban performance, and presentation of tokens of appreciation. The event concluded with mass Asar prayer.
