The Community Development Department (JAPEM) at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports released a statement yesterday informing the public that a message and video that went viral was false and that it was not been issued by the department.
The message, circulating through TikTok via @brunei_info, was about a monthly welfare assistance of BND500 via
