I had an interesting Raya yesterday. I went to Seria to pick up Raya packets from someone who contacted me that he had packets which I don’t have. When I got to his home, he invited me in. We had a chat and found out that we are related by marriage. Syahmi’s wife, Nurulhoda is the niece to my cousin’s late husband. What a small world and what better day to merapatkan silaturrahim. I went to a couple other open houses of friends and finally went to Jerudong Park for an open house with Singapore where many of the guests were fellow Brunei students who studied in Singapore in 1960s and 1970s. YTM PAP Masnah was the guest of honour and she graciously took a photo with my niece.
