Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) hosted an appreciation event to honor the winners of its Al-Quran competition. The event, held at the university mosque, saw four winners recognized for their accomplishments. Dayangku Fauziah Nadirah binti Pengiran Haji Jofri, the champion, recited Surah At-Takathur. Guest speaker Haji Muskirsman Safari elaborated on the surah's meaning. The other winners were Dr Hajah Siti Wardah binti Mejar (Rtd) Haji Abdul Rahman (first runner-up), Dayangku Siti Ummi Syazana binti Pengiran Haji Marjuki (second runner-up), and Haji Nasrul Fakhri bin Haji Yahya (third place). Associate Professor Pengiran Dr Mohammad Iskandar bin Pengiran Haji Petra, UBD's Assistant Vice-Chancellor, graced the event as guest of honor.
