Two suspects, a local and a permanent resident aged 20 and 21, were apprehended by the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) for attempting to smuggle 300 bottles and 192 cans of alcohol into Brunei. RBPF personnel pursued a suspicious vehicle, leading them to a coffee farm in Kampong Negalang where the contraband was discovered hidden in black plastic boxes. The suspects and the seized alcohol were subsequently transported to the Bangar Police Station and the case is now being handled by the Religious Enforcement Division and the Royal Customs and Excise Department.
