Brunei marked the eve of Hari Raya Aidiladha with resounding Takbir ceremonies held nationwide, culminating in a main event at the Jame’ ‘Asr Hassanil Bolkiah mosque. Minister of Religious Affairs Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman graced the occasion alongside Deputy Minister Pengiran Dato Seri Setia Haji Mohd Tashim bin Pengiran Haji Hassan. Mosque youth groups, officials from religious departments, personnel from the Royal Brunei Armed Forces and students participated in the ceremony, which included recitations, a religious talk, and the echoing of Takbir. The event aimed to celebrate Aidiladha and foster a spirit of Zikir (remembrance of God) within the nation.
