I was told this is one of the best long-standing Rojak in Brunei. 😳
Lee Loi Fatt is known for serving one of the best Rojaks in Brunei. The restaurant first opened its doors in Belait and has since expanded due to popular demand, with branches now in Kg Serusop (where I visited - same building with Jolibee) and Kiulap, and I believe there’s one in Tutong too.
Rojak, a delightful mix of flavors and texture, other than the defining peanut sauce dressing, here includes pineapple, mango, apple, cucumber, bean sprouts, and savory items like tofu and cuttlefish, with an option to add prawn fritters. The standout at Lee Loi Fatt is their cuttlefish rojak or 'rojak sotong,' which comes with a peanut sauce that is absolutely divine—truly the most satisfying rojak sauce I’ve ever tasted! Sampai kuahnya pun kami habiskan.
Despite their small, curated menu focusing on iconic dishes, their popularity is undeniable—their classic chicken rice was already sold out by 3 pm! We also enjoyed their hearty laksa chicken and Kolomee. Plus, my first taste of Pepsi with kasturi was surprisingly refreshing!
