Last Tuesday, a joint initiative between Brunei and Malaysia saw the planting of 500 saplings from seven different tree species at the Berakas Forest Reserve Recreational Park. Led by Deputy Minister (Energy) Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Matsatejo bin Sokiaw and Malaysian High Commissioner to Brunei Dato’ Raja Reza bin Raja Zaib Shah, the event involved over 70 participants including representatives from various Bruneian government agencies, PETRONAS Carigali Brunei Ltd (PCBL) and its consortium partners, as well as students from the Petronas School of Life program.
