This prestigious title, formerly known as Queen's Counsel (QC), recognizes excellence in the English legal system. Dr Ong's achievement follows the passing of Queen Elizabeth II and the transition to King Charles III. He is also the first ASEAN national to be elevated to the rank of Master of the Bench at the Inner Temple.
