Brunei can send mail to US but USPS doesn't send to Brunei because of "pandemic restrictions". Maybe Brunei post forgot to update their status?

No issue. I sent back a parcel a couple weeks back to the US via pos laju EMS. Took them about 2 weeks to arrive, it was on transit in Singapore for about 11 days.

Pos laju counter happily accepted it without any issues.

Also sending packages to Malaysia and Singapore took 3-4 days to be delivered.

Will use EMS going forward. UPS quoted more than double. DHL lagi mahal.

That would be a question for USPS. Since it’s a US govt entity, maybe can ask US Embassy in Brunei.

if im not mistaken, you can send parcels to US but not vice versa, I mailed a parcel to a friend in the US but my friend couldn't

not surprised because Brunei is a backwater country with no proper infrastructure to cater for this.

None of their AR listing is updating since 2 months ago nobody gives a shit about that over there?? If u ask on their supposed ‘whatsapp hotline’ they just make dunno only. Their registered post tracker is mediocre at best because if the person lazy then it doesn’t get updated anyway. Why is it so shitty and why are we even accepting this as the standard for shipping.

I had a USA mailbox before but whenever I sent anything home from USA the mail would be rejected.

However in November onwards I received mail, just delayed on an overall of 3 months. Like mail sent in Feb would be received in May. Not sure which postal service but I confirmed with MPC I can receive mail from the USA.
