Three Malaysians, including a baker and two employees of Hyatt Borneo Management Services (HBMS), face 45 charges for allegedly conspiring to cheat HBMS by supplying expired flour. The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) launched an investigation after discovering that Perusahaan Ala Haji Bolhassan, a long-time flour supplier to HBMS, sold surplus 'Dawn' brand baking flour past its expiration date. The three defendants are accused of deceiving HBMS into believing the flour was still usable, resulting in HBMS making payments totalling BND25,780 for the expired goods. The trial has been adjourned until April 24th to allow for document inspection by the defense.
