***Ministry of Defence*** The Ministry of Defence (MinDef) presented Long Service Medal (PKL) to 26 officers and staff in conjunction with the 76th birthday celebration of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam at the MinDef Tower Block, Bolkiah Garrison. Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Defence II Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof presented the medals to the recipients. The ceremony was held in conjunction with the 76th birthday celebration of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam at the multipurpose hall of the MOHA building in the capital. The recipients comprised two from the Brunei-Muara District Office, two from the Belait District Office, six from the Temburong District Office, five from the Bandar Seri Begawan Municipal Department, two from the Kuala Belait and Seria Municipal Department, two from the Tutong Municipal Department, 13 from the Immigration and National Registration Department and five from the Fire and Rescue Department. Minister of Primary Resources and Tourism Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Abdul Manaf bin Haji Metussin presented the medals to the recipients in a ceremony that gave recognition and appreciation to civil servants of the ministry for their services and contributions.
