How much total wealth and assets do you think you should build up in Brunei in order to have a comfortable retirement?

Passive income of 3k and above would be sufficient to retire comfortably i believe.

Should never accumulate assets in Brunei. Always invest overseas / change BND "savings" to other currencies / Buy 2nd home somewhere else.
Once the bubble burst, gonna be havoc

Have more kids and get them to give you monthly allowance plus the monthly pensions of $250 should be enough. Healthcare is all taken care of btw .

I found the information below and here's a summary
In Brunei, some folks believe a passive income of $3,000 or more is the golden ticket to a comfy retirement! Others think investing overseas is the way to go, just in case of economic hiccups. And one cheeky commenter suggests having kids to fund your retirement—talk about a family plan!
