A 61-year-old Bruneian man was ordered to pay a BND130,600 fine by the Magistrate’s Court for possessing over 20,700 illegal cigarettes. The smuggled cigarettes had an estimated import duty value of BND13,052. If Omar @ Yaakub bin Radang fails to pay the fine, he faces a 21-month jail sentence.
