A Brunei man, Mohamad Suhaib bin Haji Narudin, faces charges of murder and seven counts of physical abuse against his four-year-old nephew. Preliminary inquiries are scheduled for June 27-28. The defendant's wife pleaded guilty to four counts of physically abusing the same victim and will be sentenced on February 14.
