***Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications*** Azlan Othman The Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications held Nuzul Al-Quran and a handover of donations to 29 orphans yesterday. Minister of Transport and Infocommunications Pengiran Dato Seri Setia Shamhary bin Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Mustapha was present. The event began with the recitation of Al-Quran verses by *qari* champion Pengiran Muhammad Adibul Amin bin Pengiran Haji Marjuki. Director of General Affairs and Company Secretary Li Peng and Director of Human Resources Alan Goh presented donations worth BND7,000 to eight underprivileged families and 10 orphans at the event at Kampong Serasa Acting Village Head Abdul Hamid bin Haji Zainin’s residence. Three families will also have minor house repair works done. The donations in the form of care packages and hampers were mostly sourced from community-based small businesses and non-governmental organisations.
