I've heard developers want to make their money back from the building costs in less than 10 years and anything afterwards is profit. Which is ironic because aint nobody gonna be their tennants with these prices.

dont you think its a strategy so that others cant enter the business rental market.

To rich developers (70/30). They just create higher rental with a big smile. You rent it or leave it. All banks are their best friend (back up financing) to get ease approval millions loans for next new projects. Bank insider jobs got invisible lavish commission.

To developers are like bread & butter process to them. So giving higher mthly rental are norm & a joke session to them. Tenants suffer.

There are quite a number of places with rentals below 2k actually...

Willing buyer willing seller ! I offer 2500 rental. U think it’s fair u rent. If no demand of coz rental drop la. U think it’s expensive but to others it may be worth it.

If this is too high then you will need to go back to drawing board,look at your business plan,look at your financials,look at your sales and marketing strategy. Perhaps in your plan you didnt calculate it for space that was above $2K rent so work on it further refine it.
