Residents of the Belait District in Brunei experienced water disruptions yesterday due to urgent repairs on water pipes along Jalan Satu Selatan in Seria. The Public Works Department (JKR) confirmed that areas like Mukim Kuala Belait, Mukim Kuala Balai, and Kampong Panaga were affected. To address the situation, JKR deployed blue water tanks at strategic locations including Panaga Primary School, Panaga Police Station, and various roads like Jalan Parak, Jalan Kalajiau, and Jalan Teripas. The department urged residents to conserve water and contact Darussalam Line 123 for clean water delivery via tankers.
