Nur Hasnaa Syahmina binti Md Hassanal Adilah, a 12-year-old karateka from Brunei, is set to make history as the first Bruneian athlete to compete in the World Karate Federation Karate-1 Youth League in Fujairah, UAE. The competition will feature over 2,000 karatekas from 78 countries. Nur Hasnaa Syahmina will be competing in the under-14 kata female category and aims to reach the finals. She is trained by national coach Anggoro Bayu Pratama and supported by the Youth and Sports Department's karate scheme.
