Two Brunei civil servants, Haji Muhammad Suffian bin Haji Bungsu and Jonathan Kho Chew Sen, have been charged with corruption in the Magistrate's Court. Suffian, a former director of Radio Television Brunei (RTB), is accused of receiving a luxury car as a bribe from Kho, an assistant chief at RTB, in exchange for securing Kho's promotion. The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) revealed the charges are based on their findings that Suffian received the car on July 17, 2014. Both defendants were released on bail and the case has been adjourned to April 25.
