In celebration of National Savings Day 2024, the Brunei Darussalam Central Bank (BDCB) and the Ministry of Education launched the first Financial Awareness Roadshow at Sekolah Rendah Dato Mohd Yassin in Mentiri. The event, supported by TAP, Cyber Security Brunei, and several financial institutions, aims to enhance financial literacy among the community, particularly children. Minister of Education Datin Seri Setia Hajah Romaizah binti Haji Md Salleh officiated the roadshow, while Dato Seri Paduka Haji Khairuddin bin Haji Abdul Hamid, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Minister of Finance and Economy II, also attended. BDCB Managing Director Hajah Rokiah binti Haji Badar highlighted the importance of practical financial management skills for students.
