What if MoRA is the one with the wrong teachings and misguided interpretations?
I mean show me where in the Quran or Hadiths did it say it is not permissible for non-Muslims to put up winter decorations like snowmen during Christmas? Or where in the Quran or Hadiths that say all businesses, including restaurants run by non-Muslims, need to close for 2 hours during lunchtime once a week? Or where in the Quran or Hadiths that say people including children, pregnant women, tourists, non-Muslims, etc. are banned from eating in public during the fasting month?

What they're saying is it's not okay to be extreme if it pertains to other religions and faith. But if we do it and actively encourage it to the point of restricting others and depriving them of their rights, that's perfectly fine and allah encourages it lmao

I don’t understand this department.
>”performing zikir that praises specific individuals..”
Ironically, you are literally praising a dead prophet’s birthday on the 12th of Rabi’ Al-Awwal when he himself did not command to do it.
Fucking religious fanatics. I’m glad I left religion.

>Additionally, social isolation of individuals who detach from their family and community responsibilities to focus solely on a particular group, despite Islam’s encouragement of brotherhood and unity, is a cause of concern.
Look who's talking. Instead of blaming the individuals maybe, just maybe, MORA's own exclusivity policies has something to do with it? Instead of promoting harmony and unity between different religious beliefs, they went for alienating one group over the others. MoRA themselves created this toxic environment.

If you read the article MoRA is warning against believing in talismans and charms which is strictly forbidden in Islam. It also talks about joining groups I think they must be talking about jamaah islamiya- these people go in self isolation sometimes for months to do zikir etc neglecting family duties and other responsibilities.

I found the information below and here's a summary
It’s wild to think that MoRA's warnings about misguided teachings have sparked a lively debate! Some commenters are questioning whether MoRA itself might be misinterpreting religious texts, leading to some pretty humorous and eye-opening exchanges about snowmen and fasting laws. Who knew religious discussions could be so entertaining?
