Senior government officials in Brunei, participating in the 29th Executive Development Programme for Senior Government Officers (EDPSGO), have launched a community outreach project called Ikhlas. The initiative aims to help individuals with different abilities (OKU) find employment opportunities in restaurants across the Sultanate. The project collaborates with various government agencies and organizations, including the Ministry of Education, Manpower Planning and Employment Council (MPEC), Council for the Welfare of Persons with Different Abilities (MKOKU), and Brunei Food and Beverage Association (BFBA). Four restaurants have already joined the program, offering employment to 12 differently abled individuals.
