Brunei is accelerating its transition to sustainable and low-carbon energy. The Prime Minister's Office, through the Energy Department, focuses on initiatives like optimizing operations, energy efficiency, and utilizing renewable energy sources like solar power. A 30MW solar project in Kampung Belimbing Subok is expected to become operational by 2025. Other projects, including a 12MW solar system by TotalEnergies, are also underway.
