***Council of Women of Brunei Darussalam*** Over 250 members from 13 women associations under the Council of Women of Brunei Darussalam (CWBD) participated in a religious ceremony to mark the birthday of Her Majesty Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha binti Al-Marhum Pengiran Pemancha Pengiran Anak Haji Mohamed Alam yesterday. The event, featuring the recitation of* Surah Yaasiin, Zohor prayer, Doa Kesyukuran* and *Khatam* Al-Quran, was held at Suri Seri Begawan Raja Pengiran Anak Damit Mosque in Kampong Madang. The participating associations were Pertiwi Association, Women’s Institute of Brunei Darussalam (WI), Welfare Body of the Spouses of Senior Government Officials and Women Officials (BISTARI), Belait District Women Welfare Association (PKP), Brunei Malay Teachers Association (PGGMB), Tutong District Women Welfare Association (PERGANITA), Women Welfare Body of RPN Lambak Kanan (BAKANITA), Women Graduates Association of Brunei Darussalam (PSW), Kampong Lambak Youth Association (PERBEKAL), Kampong Junjungan Women’s Association (PEWAJA), Nurul Islam Association (PNI), Girls Guides Association of Brunei Darussalam (PPPBD) and Welfare Association of the Spouses of Royal Brunei Armed Forces (BAKTI). PHOTO: AZLAN OTHMAN *** ***Takmir Committee of RPN Kampong Pandan Mosque*** In marking the 77th birthday celebration of Her Majesty Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha binti Al-Marhum Pengiran Pemancha Pengiran Anak Haji Mohamed Alam, the *Takmir* Mosque committee along with muslimah of RPN Kampong Pandan Mosque yesterday held a *Khatam* Al-Quran ceremony. The ceremony began with the recitation of *Surah Al-Fatihah* led by the wife of Legislative Council member Yang Berhormat Haji Salleh Bostaman bin Haji Zainal Abidin, Hajah Norliah binti Haji Abdul Wahab.
