Aku terpakai orang tua punya phrase, “Walaupun rumahnya basar atau lawa, kalau jambannya barigali..orang atu tetap barigali.”

No maintenance/cleaning. Toilet is disgusting so people who do dare to use it have no incentive to keep it clean. Spray water everywhere because why not? It can't be any worse.
Islam values cleanliness but look at public toilets in Brunei and compare with Japanese toilets!

All Hua Ho from Bunut to Manggis to Onecity has horrible toilets
Infact, all First Emporium Group have got even worse toilets, they even keep foodstuff stock next to their public toilets
Supasave is the best, they charged u a premium and yet offer you Huaho standard toilet.
But yet again, the authorities would never dare to question Huaho on hygience especially he is now the YB

Don’t even get me started on the baby changing room (i think second floor). I was there earlier in May and when I opened the door, I was welcomed by the smell of ciggy. Imagine! Sudah tia tempat changing diaper and it reeked of cigarettes! Once open the door, the bathroom also smelt of that. One can only assume the staff used that space for their smoke break. Truly atrocious!

I swear Brunei has the worse toilets in department stores and the mall 😭 whenever I’m in gadong, I usually go to the centrepoint toilet if nearby 👹 it’s the only “decent” one

I found the information below and here's a summary
Did you know? Brunei's public toilets have become a meme of sorts! With comments like 'Brunei has the worst public toilets' and 'even the mosque toilets are dirty,' it seems everyone has a funny (and not-so-funny) story to share about their restroom experiences. Talk about a culture shock for visitors!
