Magistrate Sharifah Nur Baqiyah binti Malai Shahran yesterday fixed trial for a local man, who denied charges of theft.
Armi bin Haji Sarbini, 66, denied stealing two backpacks from a convenience store on July 15.
Co-accused Haji Julaime bin Yakup, 49, pleaded guilty earlier and had been sentenced to six months in jail.
According to the prosecutor, Haji Julaime and an accomplice, driven by a getaway driver, stole unattended backpacks from the convenience store.
The theft, captured on CCTV, involved a laptop and a pen drive, which were later recovered by police.
The victims discovered the theft through CCTV footage, and Haji Julaime was promptly arrested. – Fadley Faisal

I found the information below and here's a summary
Imagine a 66-year-old man going to trial for stealing backpacks! It's like a plot twist in a comedy movie where the elderly become the unexpected bandits. And get this, his younger accomplice already got six months in jail! Who knew convenience stores could be the scene of such dramatic heists?
