During the holy month of Ramadhan, Perbadanan Tabung Amanah Islam Brunei (TAIB) hosted a Tedarus Al-Quran ceremony at Pehin Khatib Abdullah Mosque in Kampong Kulapis. The event coincided with the presentation of BND130,000 in donations to Pengiran Muda Mahkota Al-Muhtadee Billah Fund for Orphans (DANA). The Minister of Defence II, Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, graced the ceremony. The donations were made by TAIB and its subsidiaries: Insurans Islam TAIB Holdings Sdn Bhd, Insurans Islam TAIB Family Takaful Sdn Bhd and Darussalam Holdings Sdn Bhd.
