Eight foreign nationals were apprehended during immigration raids conducted at a learning center in Mukim Berakas 'B', Brunei. Three individuals were initially detained for immigration violations, including overstaying and lack of documentation. Subsequently, two Indonesian nationals, Neneng Rohayati (47) and Sarintan (58), were found guilty of overstaying their visas and sentenced to four months imprisonment and a BND1,000 fine. Failure to pay the fine resulted in an additional month added to their prison terms. The Immigration and National Registration Department urges the public to report any suspected immigration offenses.
