His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah has appointed Dato Seri Setia Haji Johar bin Haji Muhamad as the new Judge of the Syariah Court of Appeal in Brunei Darussalam. The appointment, effective January 1st, was announced by the Syariah Courts. Judge Johar previously served as a Judge of the Syariah High Court.
