The Scoop
DST launched its highly-anticipated new Mobi plans on Friday, featuring the latest iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro models.
Early bird shoppers began queuing outside DST’s Airport Mall branch as early as 6am, eager to be among the first to purchase the iPhone 16.
Customers who bought the DST Priority Pass — available on the MyDST app — secured their place at the front of the queue and were given first dibs the iPhone 16.
DST Chief Operating Officer, Ang Kian Han, and BIBD Deputy Head of Retail Banking Group, Junaidi Bahrum, launched the new Mobi Contract Bundles at the store, offering customers the chance to get their hands on the latest Apple products at an accessible price point.
These bundles start from just $989 upfront for the iPhone 16.
In a special collaboration with BIBD, DST is also offering an exclusive promotion for BIBD Credit Cardholders: the first 100 customers who buy an iPhone 16 with a BIBD Credit Card will enjoy a $50 rebate. The promotion is valid from September 27 until October 31, 2024.
For more details on DST’s Mobi Contract Bundles featuring iPhone 16 products, head to DST’s official website to stay updated about stock availability.
Beyond purchasing the Priority Pass, the MyDST app allows users to transfer money, pay bills, and manage their mobile and data usage all in one place.
Users can also make purchases on a wide variety of products on MyDST Shop, ranging from food to home appliances. Customers will receive cashback rewards when recharging their pre-paid Easi plans or placing orders on the MyDST Shop, which is also available on the app.
You can even pay for your car insurance on the MyDST app through Insurans Islam TAIB, and pay for your kids’ school fees through the MyDST Biller feature.
