Twenty scholars successfully completed the Hengyi Industries Sdn Bhd and Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) Joint Scholarship Programme, earning their Bachelor of Chemical and Process Engineering degrees from Zhejiang University (ZJU). The graduation ceremony was held at UBD's Institute for Leadership, Innovation and Advancement (ILIA), with UBD Vice-Chancellor Dr Hazri bin Haji Kifle presenting the ZJU certificates. The program involves three years of academic study split between UBD and ZJU, followed by six months each of industrial training and internship with Hengyi Industries. These graduates are now prepared to embark on careers in Brunei's petrochemical industry.
