Tbh I haven't seen any tourist publicly criticize our country so..
The vocal ones give positive review doesn't mean it reflects majority as a whole.
Just like the vocal bad ones tend to speak the loudest as well.
I'm glad there's someone who enjoyed our place because "it's different". When we go overseas, we enjoyed it greatly too because, it's "different" it's like that. This feeling is short termed. Living anywhere long term will expose you to bad sides of it. Then we lose the excitement that we first felt when we first arrived. It's normal.
Op should have come back then before covid during Raya, we get to go to the palace for free food and meet the Sultan. Good ol times
