He pleaded guilty to charges of criminal trespass and assault after attempting to steal items from an occupied building in Kampong Kilanas with three accomplices. During the confrontation with the property guard and owner, Jonathon brandished a machete. The incident involved a chase that ended at a filling station in Kampong Bebatik Kilanas. While one accomplice was apprehended, the machete used remains missing.
