Last November, President Xi Jinping and His Majesty had a successful meeting in San Francisco and guided the development of bilateral relations, reflecting high-level bilateral political mutual trust as well as practical cooperation. The high-quality cooperation under the framework of Belt and Road and across all fields of bilateral relations has promoted the steady progress of Brunei Vision 2035 and brought more benefits to the two peoples. This year is of special significance, as it marks the 40th anniversary of the independence of Brunei Darussalam as well as 75th anniversary of the Founding of China. “China stands ready to work with Brunei to implement the important consensus reached by the two heads of state and enrich the connotation of bilateral Strategic Cooperative Partnership, so as to put more impetus to the national development of Brunei, and build a community with a shared future for mankind together. “May His Majesty enjoy good health!
