Mr Tan Sui Seng, a local Bruneian, founder & principal of the group is hosting a free fitness programme ‘Master Week’ from 11th – 15th Sep 2023 at the Silver Jubilee Park, Kiulap from 6.15pm to 7.30pm. The class will be personally led by Mr Tan & his wife Mrs Tan who is a Master Trainer. All the classes are free, for all ages. The public only needs to bring a Yoga mat. All the trainers will be there to assist. Classes for ordinary people are from Monday to Friday. It will be led by volunteer trainers with various programme and different workouts. The special needs class every Tuesday and Thursday will be led by Principal Tan with stretching and bone setting therapy, for members who have difficulty walking and squatting, body pain, insomnia etc. Principal Tan said one of his member Wong, 75, affected by stroke twice before, managed to walk after a few months of training by Principal Tan. Another member Lawrence, 70, also had a stroke before and other member who had mild Alzheimer, issues with movement, strength and endurance has seen improvement after a few months of training. The stretching therapy has seen most members being cured of body pain. Principal Tan emphasised that stretching is very powerful and it stimulates blood circulation, nervous system, boosts of metabolism and realigns body posture. He encouraged the public to do more stretching daily. ![](https://media.everythingbrunei.com/public/Ox5GK93Vhg4PQf6WQnky8-1DIBIdNDxXUTIyfvnfd0A.jpeg) Principal Tan said they provide a variety of workouts such as Yoga, Yoga Roller, Total Body Stretching, Pilates, Barre Stretching, Meditation, Reflexology Stretching, Total Body Sculpt and Tone workout, Total body workout, High Intensity Workout HIIT, Tabata, Fat & Weight loss workout, Body Weight workout, Aerobics workout, Cardio workout, KickBoxing, Kung Fu workout, Body Functional workout, Special needs class, Senior class & many more! Principal Tan also said most members learnt from zero. He said all the volunteer trainers assist all members to learn slowly and step by step. The trainers monitor during the class to ensure workout and stretch correctly. The class is conducted in three languages English, Malay and Mandarin. Principal Tan, who encourages public health awareness and wellbeing, emphasised “It’s never too late to start a healthy life”. The class is always full of happiness and laughter, he’s urging all to join them.
